**Senior Back-end Engineer**

**What you'll do**

We are a growing team of technologists focused on using the latest technologies and outside-the-box thinking to create modern and delightful web-based tools that enable our consultants to drive impactful business initiatives and deliver sustainable value creation to our clients.

We are looking for an experienced and energetic engineer to join our growing development lab. This position is based in our Buenos Aires, Argentina office.

**Minimum Qualifications / Requirements**:

- 5 years of PHP development experience - preferably
- 5 years of excellent SQL/T-SQL skills - debugging and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of modern web protocols (HTTP) and concepts (REST, API, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented (OO) design patterns and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Excellent debugging skills.

**What you'll need**
- Git Version Control
- IIS
- MS SQL Server
- Agile Methodologies (SCRUM)
- Azure DevOps ticketing system (ticketing, deploying, etc.)

**Pluses**:

- Business Intelligence tools experience (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- 2+ years of D3 experience or other SVG/Canvas-based charting libraries.
- DevOps or pipeline automation experience.
- Team player and takes full ownership of features worked on.
- Wants to create technology policies and standards to promote development best practices and aid in the support of development goals.
- Wants to help produce thought leadership material around all aspects of development.
