**The Work You'll Do**:
The Technical Analyst II applies a systematic approach to the development, delivery and maintenance of excel-based tax compliance software. Individuals in this role work with others across the business to understand customer needs and develop high value solutions. The Technical Analyst II typically collaborates with Product Owners, Tax Research, Development Manager, and other staff to refine requirements. The Technical Analyst II is responsible for the development and testing of Tax Form changes that adhere to the established processes and procedures.
- More specifically you will:_
- Assist fellow technical analysts with content update processes
- Performing Microsoft SQL queries and related task at an intermediate level
- Assist with the review of release notes and content update letters
- Volunteer and take on new tasks projects to assist the team
- Obtain an intermediate functional understanding of all content management systems
- Be proactive and follow through on all update and client issues
- Understand and lead complex tasks within tax forms content team update process
- Obtain an intermediate understanding of indirect taxes and their reporting requirements
- Able to complete medium to high complex jurisdiction assignments

**What We Need From You**
- Some history working in a similar type of role
- Intermediate understanding of MS Excel formulas and macros
- Intermediate computer system skills training or experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and/or resolve intermediate issues or situations, including both technical and business/tax related issues or concerns
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and able to interact with cross functional internal teams
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn about intermediate tax reporting and tax technology topics
- Demonstrate ability to manage strict deadlines and work independently, while following the required guidelines and procedures is essential
- Demonstrate a willingness to mentor junior team members on jurisdictions as well as tax and tax technology
- Demonstrate intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Self-starter with strong problem solving and logical thinking skills
- Willingness to learn tax reporting and the proper utilization of our internal technical tools
- Goal and detail oriented in all aspect of work
- Ability to manage multiple mid to complex level tasks
