In Vates you will participate in different projects made up of multicultural teams distributed in different parts of the world. We are looking for proactive leaders, oriented to teamwork, passionate about programming and who seek to provide the best experience to the end user.

**Responsibilities of this role include**:

- Producing formal project level documentation such as charter/PID, scope, resource planning, communication plans, project plans, implementation plans, rollout plan, change control, risk assessments, lessons learned/retrospectives and ROI assessment upon project closure.
- Strong management skills, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills. Must be adept at communicating with a non-technical audience.
- Determining and defining clear deliverables, direction, roles and responsibilities for all staff members
- Adhering to document control policies, templates and supporting best practices.
- Define and lock project scope, goals, resources, tasks, milestones and deliverables.
- Facilitating and managing cross functional project teams.
- Manage budget and scope through the project lifecycle.
- Proactively monitor and report project progress, impediments and solutions with the ability to present and communicate to stakeholders. Ability to evaluate, assess, document and articulate the result of the project.
- Manage customer relationships and expectations by following a consistent communication plan to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and results.
- Facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences including senior management, peers and technical staff.

**Requirements**:

- Project management qualification (PMP) or a minimum of 5+ years’ experience as project manager having managed and been responsible for medium to large scale IT projects 9-12+ months in duration.
- Detail oriented, proficient in managing and leading cross-functional teams who works well under pressure.
- Strong collaboration and facilitation skills.
- Excellent relationship building/management and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Strategic planning, risk management, time management and resource management skills.
- Self-motivated and results driven having the ability to make tough decisions to achieve goals.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and deliverables for self and others
