**About the Role**:
Were looking for a **Perimeter Security Engineer** to join an innovative project in the healthcare technology space, contributing to the development and security of cloud-based infrastructure that supports critical data services.

In this role, you will own and optimize perimeter security controls across hybrid environments. Youll work hands-on with technologies like **Palo Alto firewalls**, **AWS Network Firewall**, **AWS WAF**, and **VPN/IPSec** tunnels. You'll also interact with external stakeholders when configuring secure connections.

**What Youll Be Doing**:

- Manage and secure the network edge infrastructure.
- Configure and tune **Palo Alto firewalls**, **AWS WAF**, **AWS Network Firewall**, and **VPC** settings.
- Set up and troubleshoot **VPNs** and **customer IPSec tunnels**, ensuring secure communication with third-party systems.
- Standardize perimeter security practices across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external technical contacts to implement, monitor, and support VPN configurations.
- Monitor security metrics and proactively adjust controls to address vulnerabilities.
- Maintain clear documentation of configurations and procedures.

**What You Bring**:

- 4+ years of experience in **network or perimeter security roles**, ideally in hybrid cloud environments.
- Hands-on expertise with **Palo Alto firewalls** and **AWS security services** (WAF, Network Firewall, VPC).
- Solid knowledge of **IPSec**, **VPN protocols**, and customer-to-cloud secure tunnel setup.
- Experience troubleshooting and tuning perimeter security components.
- Familiarity with **infrastructure as code** tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, including direct collaboration with external partners.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Bonus: experience in the healthcare industry or working under compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA).
