We are seeking a passionate and experienced education professional to lead our school as Head of School.Our school offers the International Baccalaureate exclusively to vulnerable minors, asylum seekers, and refugees, aiming to provide high-quality education and extracurricular opportunities usually reserved for the wealthy.
Our goal is to empower students to become community and global leaders.School ManagementWork closely with the Program department to align with the organisation's vision and ensure quality standards.Lead and coordinate the management team (admin, HR, logistics, finance, education, safeguarding, security).Represent Still I Rise at various forums and engage with local stakeholders.Prepare weekly progress reports and ensure timely submission of work plans and donor reports.Supervise recruitment and oversee HR strategies including performance management.Manage procurement and financial processes, including budgeting and spending analysis.Ensure proper documentation and sharing of best practices.Educational OversightSupervise educational development and advise on student selection and school policies.Coordinate curriculum development to meet regional, national, and IB standards.Oversee the implementation of IB-specific features and create a student-centered, nurturing environment.Stakeholder ManagementEngage with ministry officials and education authorities.Act as liaison with the IB regional office for MYP accreditation and compliance.Promote IB MYP within and outside the school community.Keep families informed about IB developments and school activities.Child Protection & SafeguardingCollaborate with the Education and Child Safeguarding teams to address student concerns and implement behavioral support plans.Essential Skills & RequirementsAt least 5 years of leadership experience in education and operations management.
