We are currently looking for a **Financial Risk Consultant **to join our dynamic team In this role, you will help shape the future of financial institutions by leveraging your expertise in risk management while contributing to the development of cutting-edge AI solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to drive innovation, improve decision-making processes, and help top-tier banks navigate the challenges brought by digitization and the increasing availability of data.
- You will get the chance to:_
- Collaborate with data scientists and technologists to develop and implement innovative AI-driven solutions that automate business processes and enhance risk management capabilities for financial institutions.
- Help top-tier banks adapt to trends like digitization, big data, and open banking. Identify how these trends impact financial risk and opportunities, and provide strategies to harness data for better decision-making.
- Analyze and quantify financial risks, with a strong focus on Expected Loss parameters like PD, LGD and EAD.
- Ensure compliance with global financial regulations (Basel III, IFRS 9, US GAAP) by helping clients align their risk strategies and capital requirements with regulatory standards.
- Design and deploy risk management strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client, including AI-enhanced models for credit risk analysis, liquidity management, and stress testing.
- Work closely with financial institutions to understand their business models, risk tolerance, and growth objectives. Provide expert advisory on AI-driven solutions for optimizing decision-making and risk control.

- Ability to work with large data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and strategic mindset.
- Business fluency in English and Spanish.
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Physics
- Experience in financial risk management or consulting, preferably with exposure to AI and data analytics in financial services.
- Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks, EL parameters (PD, LGD, EAD), and financial regulations.
- Knowledge of data science tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
