Construction Classroom Assistant

**Construction Classroom Assistant (Plumbing/Electrical)**
- **Reports to**:Assistant Director - Construction
- **Location**:Crewe
- **Salary**:up to £21,500
- **Type**:Full-time

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Crewe.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in Plumbing or Electricals.

**Main Duties**:

- To help prepare sessions, workshop equipment and materials within the Construction (Plumbing, Electrical) curriculum area
- To provide technical support within the Construction department
- To help develop and construct activities for use in practical sessions
- Assist in practical classes, carrying out demonstrations and trialing practical activities
- Maintain materials and equipment in the area
- Help carry out risk assessments for technical activities

**Requirements**:

- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in relevant discipline
- GCSE Grade C (4/5) Maths and English
- IOSH qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards
- Valid first aid certificate or willingness to work towards
- Proven experience of working in a Construction (Plumbing/Electrical) environment
