The position is part of LATAM Packaging & Engineering team.
Will work interfacing various Monster departments within the Supply Operations, Quality, NPD, Finance and Brand Managers within the MEC company. Also interact to Bottlers (co-packers) and Packaging and equipment Suppliers in order to conduct projects of manufacturing, productivity, innovation etc. Collaborate on Quality audits, validations, troubleshooting and every related effort, including full investigation on all packaging problems.
The Engineer will attend plant start-ups for new lines and products. The Engineer will search for new suppliers and new packaging, equipment, working on OEE and new process improvements for existing lines and new lines throughout the Monster network. The Engineer will support the efforts of the developing production lines and process for all beverages. This position will co-lead Project management on the new line developed for Monster at LATAM.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Support the development, validation and launch of new package at local market.
- Assist with new packaging initiatives for Monster in international markets.
- Coordinate test trials for new package qualification.
- Manage supplier information/ specs/ quotes for packaging.
- Work closely with packaging suppliers on qualification, quality assurance, productivity, audit, troubleshooting etc.
- Align product development, manufacturing and supply availability plans for new product launching.
- Oversee timelines with suppliers to keep projects on track for all new product launches.
- Coordination with supply operations, source co-packing solution for new packaging innovation.
- Sources best in class Packaging & Filling technology to support efficiency and optimization driving improvements in equipment capabilities.
- Manage quotes and budgets for capital expenditures getting approval of Business case.
- Manage new line development, spec equipment, track and trend projects with Gantt charts
- Develop OEE proposals for bottling plant improvement.
- Evaluate the feedback to identify and segment key stakeholders, understand their needs, and identify communication/interaction routines.
- Align and prioritize projects with key business stakeholders and region leadership. Supports a regular review of the stakeholder based on their needs and identify communication/interaction/ routines.

**Position Requirements**:

- Engineer: minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience with package design and development: minimum 3 years of experience.
- Strong Product development / specifically beverage: minimum 3 years of experience.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to handle lots of information and to stay on task.
- Ability to analyze data and to deliver reports.
- Role requires the employee to have a sense of urgency, solid work ethics, ability to multitask, strong organization skills, process drive, attention to detail and ability to interact with key players across multiple departments
- Experience working effectively with teams outside formal lines of authority to accomplish goals
- English Spoken/Written expertise: minimum Intermediate level.
- Spanish Spoken/Written expertise: minimum Intermediate level.
- Mature user of MS Office tool, especially Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Power Bi appreciated.
- Work with solid works / Auto Cad - nice to have.
