Senior Accountant I

The **Billing** department is responsible for ensuring sales orders and contracted services are billed in a timely and accurate manner. This department’s responsibility includes daily review and resolution of blocked sales orders, processing of documents blocked from posting to accounting, set-up of new list pricing, set-up of campaigns per direction of marketing, and execution of all SOX controls tied to pricing and corrections.

The position of **Team Lead** is to maintain a high level of customer and field satisfaction through proactive communication, execution of customer requirements, timely processing of billing as well as team support and development. The position is given a high level of responsibilities being the first point of contact for issue resolution and overseeing the work within a team portfolio. The Team Lead is expected to embrace the Ecolab culture_, _deliver exceptional customer service and ensure our customers are billed correctly.

**What You Will Do**:

- Primary trainer for new team members or new processes for the group
- Develops a deep knowledge of Ecolab’s ERP systems; SAP.
- Participates in Leadership and cross functional projects and meetings
- Team lead for an assigned team portfolio of accounts
- Ensure workload supported by the team is completed in a timely manner
- First point of contact for issue resolution
- Supports associate training, developing training materials and procedures regarding customer account management
- Facilitate new hire assessment reviews
- Demonstrates urgency to resolve escalated issues with associates, Corporate Account Mangers, internal and external customers
- Supports on-going system enhancements
- Oversee the creation of desk top procedures for the team portfolio
- May support EDI rejection/resolution process
- Support development and delivery of training materials for field operation teams
- Supports supervisor with daily team management
- Oversee team metrics for daily activities

**Position Details**:

- Office Location: Puerto Madero, CABA.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in finance, accounting, business or a related field
- 3+ years of professional work experience within a Billing department
- Proven experience leading work teams
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, Outlook
- Experience in SAP.
- Experience working with projects and migrations (preferred)
