The Role

Are you a tech-savvy problem-solver with a passion for ensuring optimal network performance? If so, look no further - Kyndryl is seeking a Mainframe Network Host Support Specialist who will be the go-to expert for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer networks.

You will work alongside a talented team of experts to plan and execute routine network changes, troubleshoot and solve network issues and outages, and maintain excellent communication with our end customers, project managers, and service engineers. You’ll be responsible for maintaining network components, monitoring network performance, and maintaining network security. You will also be providing user support for network-related issues, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support possible.

Required Skills and Experience- Responsible for VTAM, TCPIP and SNA protocols, file transfer protocols, incident and change planning;- Knowledge on RACF/ACF2;- Knowledge on zOS Network products: CommServer base, Support (TCPIP and VTAM), VTAM APPN, OMPROUTE - OSFP and RIP, SMTP, SSH, TCPIP stack on LPAR, Encrypted FTP - SSL/TLS, AT/TLS including PAGENT, IPSec/VPN including PAGENT AND IKED, z/OS Load Balancing Advisor - LBA (workload balance outside the Sysplex), TCPIP - Enterprise Extender, TCPIP - TN3270 servers, TCPIP - Dynamic VIPA.- Specializes in installing, maintaining Mainframe Network for zOS;- Connect Direct for Mainframe;- Advanced English;

Preferred Skills and Experience- CL SuperSession;- IBM NetView;- NetView Access/Multisess Services;- IBM Session Manager;- CA Teleview;- CA TPX;- CA Solve;- CA NETMASTER;- Network Director;- MacKinney Switch;- Mainframe Network printer products: VVP, JQP.
