**Job title**: Startup Analyst
**Compensation**: $2500-3000 USD/month
**Type of Work**: Full-Time Contractor
**Location**: Remote in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, or Columbia, working for a US-based company

**Why this role exists**

The Startup Analyst role will greatly help Mahway to increase the speed in which we can launch new companies. You will help to research and validate new startup ideas, work with our operations team to ensure Mahway operates as efficiently as possible, and use your detail orientation to make sure Mahway is an organized machine.

**About **Mahway**

Mahway is a venture builder with the aim to build dozens of high-growth, unicorn-potential businesses over the next decade. We pair experienced founders and operators with proven growth playbooks, to solve some of our world’s most important problems.

**Required Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Related field, MBA preferred
- Excellent written English, Conversational spoken English
- Demonstrated interest in startups & entrepreneurship
- ** Bonus**: Work, internship, or student club experience in a field related to startups / entrepreneurship

**In the first 12 months**
- You will assist Mahway in researching and validating 1-3 companies
- You will assist Mahway in carrying out and improving our internal processes
- You will assist Mahway in forming new portfolio companies
- You will do user interviews to capture and disseminate their unique knowledge and perspectives
- You will assist Mahway with our project management needs

**Outcomes**
- You will gain many of the skills needed to ideate, validate, and launch a startup
- You will understand how to effectively operate a fast-moving business
- You will learn many insights and learnings from the partners, CEOs, and advisors in the Mahway ecosystem
