**Purpose**:
Ensure accurate, compliant and timely payroll processing for all locations under scope by working together with J&J team and the BPO payroll provider for countries where external services are received. This position reviews and implements guidelines to ensure compliance with CenCa countries local government regulatory reporting requirements, and also communicates and reinforces key metrics to evaluate performance, processes and productivity.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Mantain Payroll Service Delivery Model fully operating in all countries under scope identifying process improvement needs and delivering solutions to business requirements.
- Ensure accurate and on time deliver of General Ledger reports, BSAR due dates, government requirements, labor liabilities, social security and all payroll related reports for all countries cross sector.
- Lead audits, reconciliations, interfaces, pay slip compliance, reporting, and fulfillment. Give support to any requirement relating to payroll processes and information for audits, SOX, tax and legal requirements, supports and in general all required data regarding payroll.
- Maintain compliance with all company, federal, state, local, and other applicable requirements, including SOX compliance - Assure understanding of Global Finance Services/ Payroll Operations strategies and its Governance - Coordinate for the examination and verification of payroll related data for accuracy and consistency.
- Assist Regional Payroll Lead LatAm with special projects (Global Mobility process assistance, Metrics improvement, leadeship development projects and all other required)
- Review, follow, and provide input to payroll team objectives. Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Payroll Operations. - Seek feedback, continuously learn, and take advantage of opportunities to improve knowledge, skill, and experience. Monitor results to improve effectiveness and efficiency - Mentor and guide Payroll Analysts under supervision.
- Hires, trains, supervises and reviews performance of all assigned staff.
**Qualifications** Requirements**:
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Previous experience in Payroll required, preferably for a large multi-state company as an analyst or coordinator. Experience in a shared service center environment preferred.
- Experience with payroll processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrate a proficient understanding of payroll transactions related to global mobility, benefits administration, leave administration, equity compensation, and savings plans. Experience with managing overpayments and payslip compliance in Argentina (preferred experience in another countries)
- Experience working on payroll projects. Able to process complex information and identify solutions that meet both internal and business partner requirements.
