What You Will Achieve

You will develop and provide medical and technical information relating to the company's drug products to the organization, our customers and the government. You will review and provide educational, promotional and formal report format materials to one or more company departments.

As a Senior Manager, your advanced knowledge of the principles and concepts in the discipline and comprehensive knowledge of other disciplines will enable you to lead complex projects across the division. Your experience in project management will be used while reviewing status of projects and budgets, managing schedules and preparing status reports, developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals. Your ability to develop and manage plans will facilitate in achieving objectives, interpreting internal and external business challenges and recommending best practices for improvements. While managing complex project environments, you will be able to anticipate and troubleshoot roadblocks and influence teams to achieve targets for the division.

How You Will Achieve It- Develop ideas and lead complex projects across the division and manage plans to achieve objectives.- Accountable for developing medical strategies that support product lifecycle management and for executing medical plan; including issues or questions requiring scientific input for EMB marketed products.- Provide counsel and expertise to the members of the Marketing Team for the elaboration of programs, strategies and tactical approaches for the commercial success of the drugs under his/her responsibility.- Act as Regional Medical Information contact point for local issues (example, stock outs, local press releases) and medical communications (linking with Medical Scientific Relations (MSRs) to ensure aligned Medical communications).- Identify potentially problematic medical/clinical issues in the promotional materials and, if appropriate, liaise with the Medical Director to address them.- Ensure all promotional materials are ethical and compliant, with scientific appropriate references, according to Pfizer & local standards and rules.- Work with marketing and medical colleagues to facilitate the dissemination of clinical research data. Collaborate in the preparation of study reports and manuscripts.-
- Train colleagues on a wide range of core Medical Information skills (medical writing, literature searching etc.), assessing their progress and assisting these colleagues to develop to their full potential.- Recognize other colleagues' areas of expertise and utilize them effectively to achieve team objectives. Run effective meetings, including all colleagues' diverse opinions and bringing group to consensus.**Qualifications**:
Must-Have- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) and 9+ years of experience.- Comprehensive understanding of the health environment & deep knowledge of the relevant and applicable local Codes of Practice, SOPs, regulations and guidelines.- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance & regulatory legislation and how it impacts product portfolio.Nice-to-Have- Master's degree (MA/MS/MBA) and 7+ years of experience.- Doctorate Degree (PhD/PharmD/JD) and 4+ years of experience.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including scientific writing skills; includes strong inter-personal skills.- Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.

This means they must be inquisitive and ask for updates, data and insights on execution and revisit the activity if risks are not appropriately managed or if the rationale supporting the activity no longer holds. When necessary, leaders must role model the ability to modify a business approach to address risks and must demonstrate the Courage to decline an opportunity if it is not appropriate or the risks outweigh the legitimate benefits.
