Misión del puesto

This role is primarily responsible for part of the general accounting function. You will report directly to the Head of accounting and oversee various accounting areas. Key aspects of the role include fixed asset management, journalizing payroll and employer obligations, managing labor accruals, vendor and payment management, and key account reconciliations. The role is pivotal in in the monthly close process and will work with the team to prepare all provisional and informative declarations as required.

Roles and responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Primarily in charge of the accounting for day-to-day fixed asset management, accounts payable disbursements, journalizing and reconciling all payroll and labor related accounts
  • Provides general accounting support for prepaid expenses, deposits in guarantee, deferred revenue and customer deposits
  • Provides job costing support and compiles data for cost recognition
  • Participates in month-end close for corporate reporting and statutory financial statements
  • Executes on various controls in relevant areas including account reconciliations and review of key risk areas

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or administrative field
  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable work experience
  • Experience working with SAT and IMSS
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP-system, preferred
