**Billing Service Specialist (Mid/Senior Level) - Remote**

**Responsibilities**

• Process and manage **medical claims** with insurance providers.
• Review and correct **denied or rejected claims**.
• Handle **insurance verification** and patient eligibility.
• Manage **claim appeals** and follow up on denied claims.
• Post and **reconcile payments** within internal systems.
• Generate and manage **patient statements**.
• Ensure compliance with **HIPAA regulations** and medical billing standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment discrepancies.

**Requirements**

• **Advanced English (C1/C2)** - ability to communicate fluently with U. S.based stakeholders.
• Previous experience in **medical billing** (**Mid/Senior level**).
• Strong knowledge of **RCMT** and **HIPAA regulations**.
• Ability to work with **insurance companies** and handle claim appeals.
• Experience in **payment reconciliation** and financial reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume data processing.
• Strong **problem-solving and analytical skills**.

**Preferred (Nice to Have)**

• Experience with **medical billing software** (e.g., **EPIC, Medisoft, AdvancedMD, etc.**).
• **Billing or Medical Coding certification**.
• Prior experience in the **U. S. healthcare insurance market**.

This is a **fully remote role** for professionals located in **Latin America**, with a **competitive salary paid in USD**.
