We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Procurement Logistics Value Unlocker.

**Main Job Purpose**:
As a Procurement Logistics Value Unlocker, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our Procurement and logistics processes to generate substantial cost savings for the company. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, implement, and oversee strategic initiatives that result in savings of at least 5 million Euros. This is a challenging and high-impact position that requires a combination of strong procurement and logistics skills, financial acumen, and leadership abilities.

**Position Objectives**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive Procurement and Logistics strategy to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize operational efficiencies across the supply chain.
- Analyse existing Procurement and Logistics processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to drive cost reduction and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and suppliers, to negotiate favourable contracts, pricing agreements, and service-level agreements.
- Conduct regular market research and stay up to date with industry trends, evaluating potential vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Perform cost modelling and benchmarking analysis, to optimize the end-to-end value chain.
- Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to monitor and track procurement and logistics performance, identifying deviations from targets and implementing corrective actions.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure alignment and support for procurement and logistics initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of Procurement and Logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to drive performance and foster a culture of high achievement.
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and compliance standards, ensuring procurement and logistics activities adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.

**Business Relationship management**
- Establish successful Ways of Working between stakeholders and Procurement
- Develop and execute ongoing communications with the stakeholders for the selected sourcing strategies and progress within area of spend responsibility
- Manage the relationship with key partners as part of the portfolio in the context of the Unilever Partner with Purpose (PwP) programme.

**Skills/Competencies**
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Procurement and Logistics, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and process improvements through strategic procurement and logistics initiatives.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, with the ability to analyse data, create financial models, and make informed decisions to optimize costs.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Portuguese would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on purpose-driven leadership and a strong commitment to service excellence.
- Agility and passion for high performance, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
- Desired educational background in Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Proficient in using procurement and logistics software and tools.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to different locations within Latin America.

**Experience Required**:

- Proven Experience of 4+ years in Procurement Logistics
- Previous experience in Logistics and Finance is a plus.
