In Vates you will participate in different projects made up of multicultural teams distributed in different parts of the world. We are looking for proactive leaders, oriented to teamwork, passionate about programming in this language and who seek to provide the best experience to the end user.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will work with the Yale IT team, who provides different software solutions to meet the needs of Yale School of Medicine (internal systems, institutional website, etc.)
- Act as a mentor for the other team members
- Advocate for other team members by representing the team in operations meetings
- Ensure high quality work from the team to prevent obvious problems from reaching the code review and/or QA stage
- Identify potential issues in the development workflow, requirements for specific tasks, etc. and bring them to the attention of the Scrum Lead and/or Product Owner. In general, to be proactive in communicating questions or concerns to the Yale team or other development teams, and encourage other team members to do so as well.
