**How you will contribute**

You will:

- Co-ordinate implementation of all HSE programs and processes. Prepare and build consensus annual plans for facility/function wide HSE initiatives
- Plan/Budget/Control annual capital budget for HSE to enable execution of the HSE plan and adherence to all internal and external compliance standards
- Provide HSE expertise for the facility/function for all new projects and change management activities
- Ensure appropriate risk assessments are conducted and follow ups implemented to minimize or eliminate accidents, asset losses that might cause harm to one of the company’s employees, contractors, visitors
- Ensure that the appropriate talent is in place through training, mentoring, and succession planning and supports development and learning capabilities of Safety specialists
- Ensure the facility standards are in compliance with both Company and governmental/community regulations
- Ensure training and coaching are taking place to drive a safety-perfect culture and to ensure safety standards and awareness are well understood throughout the plant organization

- Experience as a Health, Safety and Environment Practitioner preferably within a manufacturing or commercial environment
- Demonstrated experience managing a team, change management and project management
- Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with Health and Safety audit experience

**What you need to know about this position**:

- Colaborar y liderar la transformación cultural en materia de HSE para ayudar a la planta a lograr el objetivo de cero accidentes e incidentes
- Coordinar y supervisar la implementación de todos los programas y procesos de seguridad y salud
- Participar en investigaciones para facilitar el cierre de las no-conformidades identificadas
- Aportar tu experiência en seguridad y salud en planta para todos los nuevos proyectos y actividades de gestión del cambio
- Hacer un seguimiento de las no-conformidades y desarrollar los sistemas para resolverlas mediante análisis de causa raíz
- Llevar un sistema actualizado de notificación de incidentes, colaborar en la investigación de incidentes junto con el pilar de HSE/comité de seguridad y llevar a la práctica medidas correctivas para eliminar la causa raíz/repeticiones
- Desarrollar programas de orientación técnica para la identificar y eliminar riesgos físicos

- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita, y capacidad para trabajar con personas en todos los níveles
- Conocimiento y comprensión de los informes normativos y cumplimientos reglamentarios, incluida experiência con ISO

**Education / Certifications**:

- Técnicos en Seguridad e Higiene Industrial, Ingenieros Ambientales, Licenciados en ciencias ambientales, Licenciados en Higiene y seguridad, Ingenieros Industriales o afines
