As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you are a critical individual contributor and architectural leader within our engineering organization. You drive the long-term technical vision of our platform, guiding how we design, build, and evolve scalable, reliable systems across multiple squads. As a high-impact, high-autonomy technical leader, you combine deep technical contributions with influential cross-team collaboration, helping shape the future of our platform to better serve our customers.

**_ In your daily routine, you will:_**

Lead cross-squad architecture efforts, shaping and evolving technical direction across multiple domains

Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant systems to ensure outstanding performance and reliability as our customer base growsChampion Domain-Driven Design (DDD) practices and empower teams to structure software around clear, maintainable domain boundariesAdvocate for and guide the adoption of event-driven system design using tools such as Kafka and SQSEducate and mentor engineers on architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices across the engineering organizationIdentify and drive the resolution of technical bottlenecks and hotspots through refactoring and re-architecture effortsUphold and advance engineering excellence in areas such as performance optimization, secure coding, test automation, and CI/CD healthConduct deep technical reviews of codebases and architectural designs to ensure long-term maintainability and scalabilityCollaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to align technical solutions with business needs

**We think that this offer is for you if you have**:

- 9+ years of experience designing, building, and operating complex production systems
- ** Deep experience in Ruby/RoR**:

- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (i.e. JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, Node.js)
- Deep expertise with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS), containerization, and serverless/cloud-native architectures
- Experience architecting and building event-driven systems using distributed messaging tools (i.e. Kafka, SQS)
- Experience with defining and improving CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Gi
