**Responsibilities**
- Provide technical HSE advice and input to ensure a safety environment coordinating day by day HSE
- Maintain HSE information for location
- Follow Lilac's procedures, local laws, and international codes and standards
- Ensure emergency preparedness in compliance with Emergency Response documents/plans
- Provide safety topics and carry out preliminary hazard assessments of the safety risks for each task or asset
- Perform or supervise location audits
- Supervise environmental monitoring projects
- Pre-Job planning / overseeing job safety analysis and hazard control
- Provide HSE input to permitting processes or documents
- Conduct behavior-based safety observations
- Perform onsite orientations
- Conduct Incident investigation and fulfilling the appropriate forms
- Review contractor HSE performance by inspection and by acquiring data
- 8+ years of environmental and safety experience
- Good understanding of the HSE aspects of drilling activities
- Experience in the oil and gas or mining industry
- Experience in onshore drilling activities
- Familiar with local HSE laws and regulations
- Conversational English, Spanish
