A desire to help language industry professionals to achieve their business objectives.
- Highly-motivated, capable of creative problem solving, able to coordinate with online teams and also to see a project through from start to finish.
- Interest in and experience with languages, and language technologies, would be pluses. A passion for learning about these is essential.
- Proven software development experience in PHP.
- Verifiable experience in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap.
- Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational database (MongoDB), version control tools (Git) and web service development.
- Ability to build and consume RESTful web services.
- Experience with known third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Experience with UI/UX design.
- Graphic design skills.
- Web analytics and search engine optimization skills.
- Experience in Ruby on Rails.
- Passion for best design and coding practices, and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
- Good written and spoken English. Additional languages a plus
