Legal Counsel

We are seeking a detail-oriented and competent Legal Counsel to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to advise on a wide range of legal matters. You will play a key role in ensuring the organization’s compliance, managing legal risks, and supporting business operations with clear, practical legal guidance.
**Location**: Remote or on-site, depending on company requirements
Job Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support across various departments
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Conduct legal research and monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations
- Manage external counsel and coordinate on complex legal matters
- Support risk management initiatives and assist in resolving legal disputes
- Guide internal stakeholders on legal procedures and best practices

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law; Juris Doctor or equivalent preferred
- Licensed to practice law in applicable jurisdiction
- Proven experience as Legal Counsel or similar legal role
- Strong knowledge of corporate, contract, and regulatory law
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment

**Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements**:

- Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.

- A minimum of 8 GB RAM.
- Backup Device:

- Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
- Must be functional during power interruptions.
- A functioning webcam.
- A noise-canceling USB headset.
- A quiet, dedicated home office space.
- Peripherals and Workspace: A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
