**WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER**:
The Conservation Analyst will work as part of a team within a business unit coordinating tasks related to one or more functional activities, such as operational support, procurement, meetings management, budget management and special events (workshops and events) in support of “Future Landscapes”, the Ecosystem-based Adaptation for Regenerative Ranching and Agriculture (EbA-R2A) Regional Program, particularly in Argentina.
**Contract is for 1 year with the possibility of renewal.**

- **The responsibilities and scope of the Conservation Analyst are**:
- Manages calendars, meetings scheduling and meeting minutes for the Argentina & Paraguay Future Landscapes Project Manager.
- Manages specific technical exchanges and supports in reporting and basic communications as indicated by the supervisor.
- Manages timely expense reporting for the Argentina & Paraguay Future Landscapes Project Manager and complies with strict guidelines as set forth by donors.
- Designs a process for financial and vendor management to ensure compliance of donor requirements with the Grants team for the Project.
- Support publishing, coordinating and managing interviews for Program positions and ensure compliance with time charging amongst staff.
- Drafts contracts, publishes terms of reference and documents selection process and submits payments and amendments in coordination with Contracts Specialist (CCS).
- Coordinate timely responses with Project Staff and Grants Associate around semiannual financial reports.
- Coordinates with the Finance team on Future Landscapes for Argentina project’ Budget and Funds Execution and organizes quarterly financial reviews.
- Coordinates in-country operational and travel logistics for in-person and special events (salon rental, catering, equipment, translation services, flights, transportation, lodging). Leading at least 5 events on an annual basis for the Strategy and supporting some specific events’ tasks for the Future Landscapes project.
- Works collaboratively and closely with operations (Regional Office and Local Operations in countries) to guarantee all processes are aligned with TNC policies, procedures, and practices.
- Manages and maintains electronic shared files and folders (BOX).
- Perform duties under general supervision and established guidelines.
- Make day-to-day decisions within the scope of work assignments and prioritize work independently
- Demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information
- Does not supervise any staff, but may supervise volunteers, interns, or temporary staff
- Work environment involves only infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements and minor physical exertion and/or strain.
**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Agroecology, Agronomy, Natural resources management or related field and 3 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Experience organizing time and managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
- Experience performing one or more administrative processes.
- Experience working and communicating with a wide range of people.
- Experience generating reports and interpreting data.
**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experiences are appreciated.
- Ability to analyze information for the purpose of coordinating and planning activities and solving problems.
- Ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results.
- Excellent customer service skills and focus.
