**Main Purpose**
- Lead, develop and direct the Medical Function in the Cono Sur (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay & Bolivia) organization by medical structures ensuring medical governance and compliance with International Pharmaceutical Standards, PH Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), IFPMA Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Practice and other as applicable.
- Support the business and foster the business growth of the Cono Sur Region by developing and implementing medical and clinical processes and activities in alliance with the overall PH strategy.
- Medical Director has the Code Compliance Officer functions in Argentina.

**Your mission Will be to**

1. Medical Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with ethical, scientific, and legal standards in all medical activities.
- Supervise all company-sponsored or supported studies, ensuring adherence to GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain oversight of pharmacovigilance systems, ensuring timely reporting of adverse events and product quality issues.
- Act as Code Compliance Officer (where applicable), ensuring adherence to IFPMA and company codes of practice.

2. Medical Affairs Leadership
- Establish and maintain a culture of medical and ethical excellence within the sub-region.
- Lead and develop Medical Affairs teams across functions including Drug Safety, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Information.
- Provide scientific and medical guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all product-related communication and promotional materials align with approved product labeling.

3. Strategy & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Represent the sub-region in the development and execution of LATAM medical strategies.
- Partner with regional and local business leaders to support product strategy, launch readiness, and lifecycle management.
- Guide local KOL engagement strategies and foster strong scientific exchange with the medical community.
- Drive effective collaboration between Medical, Regulatory, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure scientific accuracy and ethical promotion.

4. Clinical Research & Development
- Oversee local and regional clinical trial execution, investigator-initiated studies, and post-marketing research.
- Ensure studies are designed and conducted in compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
- Supervise review and approval of study protocols, reports, and publications.

5. Talent Development & Budget Management
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing medical teams.
- Ensure continuous professional development in medical, regulatory, and compliance areas.
- Manage the Medical Function’s local budget, aligning objectives with business priorities.

**Unlock you Potencial**
- University degree: Medicine
- Medical Management experience in pharmaceutical industry or CRO 7 - 10 years
- Fluent in English
- Familiarity with current local, ICH and other international guidelines and regulations
- Competencies:
