**ABOUT US**
**OVERVIEW**
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, customizing, implementing, testing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with project managers and our clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications within the Dynamics Business Central platform. At ECHO, there are two main types of development work - creating and implementing something new and optimizing an existing solution. If you are a dedicated, detail-oriented individual with a firm knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, we encourage you to apply.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop custom extensions, integrations, and enhancements using AL (Application Language) and Visual Studio Code, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Lead data migration efforts by defining data mapping, cleansing, and transformation requirements, and executing data migration tasks using tools and scripts.
- Ensure smooth integration of Business Central with other systems.
- Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution design documents, technical specifications, and user guides to facilitate system maintenance and support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Business Central.
- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central features, updates, and best practices, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and system administrators, and communicate project status, issues, and risks in a timely manner.
**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Business Central development or similar ERP systems.
- Proficiency in AL (Application Language) development for Business Central.
- Knowledge of C/AL (Classic Application Language) is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics Business Central architecture, data model, and customization capabilities.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL queries, and database design principles.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code and AL extension.
- Understanding of ERP concepts and business processes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and Azure services.
- Strong understanding of business processes and workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications are a plus.
