**Job Title: Case Manager Assistant - Personal Injury (Bilingual)**

**Overview**

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Case Managers with daily case management tasks across multiple active files.
  • Coordinate medical appointments, send reminders, and follow up with clients as needed.
  • Request, track, and review medical records and bills, ensuring documentation is accurate and related to the case.
  • Maintain and update client records, forms (e.g., SR-1, SR-19), and case files in the firm’s software system (Filevine and Discovery).
  • Communicate with medical providers and insurance carriers to confirm billing accuracy and subrogation status.
  • Request police reports and assist in ensuring accurate documentation across all case components.
  • Enter and track case data, deadlines, and task assignments in Filevine.
  • Adjust due dates and task priorities if timelines shift, maintaining consistent progress on each case.

**Qualifications**

  • Minimum of **1 year of experience** working in a personal injury law firm.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with handling medical records, billing, and insurance forms.
  • Experience using legal case management systems such as **Filevine & Discovery** is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in **both Spanish and English**.
  • Ability to manage sensitive client information with discretion.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working within tight deadlines.
