About the position:
As IC Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to continue expanding your skillset in the following areas:

- Communication: performing a high-exposure role requiring frequent interaction with the leadership team.
- Leadership: coordinating inter-department/functional groups to meet target goals while expanding your network and span of influence in the organization.
- Technical skills: gaining deeper knowledge of BASSC/LABU organization and CVX internal controls environment.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

- Coordinate the Internal Control program.
- Preparation and analysis of Internal Controls Corporate requirements (e.g. SOX).
- Proactively partner with customers to assess risks; share best practices; identify potential areas of vulnerability and recommend controls, procedures and action plans for resolution of emerging issues.
- Support internal/external audits and prepare materials for Compliance Audit Committee meetings.
- Partner with Corp Internal Controls and other key stakeholders on enterprise-wide initiatives
- Administrate the Delegation of Authorities (DOA) process.
- Perform internal controls validations on new vendors requests.
- Coordinate Account Reconciliation requests/initiatives for FSS-BA
- Coordinate and report FSS-BA Scorecard, incident reporting, macroeconomic stats and other dashboards required by local management.
- Identify and initiate work process improvements and coordinate ad-hoc initiatives.

A significant part of the work consists of multiple non-routine type tasks with widely varying deadlines and scope.

Required Qualifications:

- Accounting or business administration degree
- Prior work experience handling Internal Control processes (e.g. SOX).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across multiple organizational levels and diverse audiences.
- Display initiative and leadership, handling multiple job responsibilities, setting priorities and leading projects.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective critical thinking and fit for purpose decision-making.
- Intermediate and above English level.
