Iot Field Applications Engineer

This is the role of Field Applications Engineer to cover US customers with focus on IOT products and solutions.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Managing the relationship between Intel and Customers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals and providing excellent pre and post sales customer support.
- Leveraging customer relationships, market knowledge, and technology savvy to gain a deep understanding of the customers' agendas, concerns and business challenges is absolutely critical in this position.
- The FAE works in a team environment with Field Sales Engineers, factory Platform Application Engineers, Market Development Managers, etc. to assist customers' engineering, marketing and product planning departments to remove any technical or marketing barriers to the adoption of Intel products, while managing their communications with the customer.
- The FAE also has responsibility for providing customer input back into Intel's roadmap and product planning processes in order to improve current and future product offerings and positioning as well as help identify new product opportunities or markets.
During customer's product design, is responsible for design assistance, including design review, examine customer problems and provide suggestions on optimal ways to use Intel products.
- Give product demonstrations and execute benchmarks to show product capabilities and ease of use.
- Understand competitor's strengths and weaknesses relative to the appropriate technical strategy.
- Communicate strategies to the appropriate field and factory personnel to obtain required support and coordination.
- Execution of research, data analysis, and preparing reports/recommendations.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or a related field of study OR equivalent experience 4 years, in addition to:

- 3+ years of experience in Portfolio and pipeline management, setting up marketing activities
- 1+ years of experience working with IoT, IoT partners, frameworks and technologies, primary and secondary design
- Advanced English level, in order to deal with US based customers
**Preferred**
- MBA
- Knowledge of data center technologies such as microprocessors, networking, embedded, SDN, and IoT

**Work Model for this Role**

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
