**Basic Qualifications**

**Responsibilities**
- Works closely with the Manager and team to define and implement strategic approaches to increase automation effectiveness within the agile team and QA department.
- Advocates for process improvement and better collaboration between the quality role and other engineering roles within the agile team, e.g. developers, product owners, scrum masters, etc., particularly around automation.
- Will be a go to source for test automation consultation and direction of our frameworks, should have experience with this type of role/ job duties.
- Ensures team’s automation meets company guidelines, regulatory expectations, defined methodologies.
- Ensures product deployed meets functional and non-functional requirements.
- Represents the quality role and function on the agile team(s) and advocates for efficient and successful quality engineering activities, i.e. is the voice of quality.
- Ensure automation activities are adequately estimated, planned, and prioritized, including representing QA in pre-refinement meetings to ensure users stories are properly scoped, organized, defined, testable, and automatable prior to refinement by their agile team.
- Responsible for manual and/or automated test creation, documentation, and execution.
- Analyzes potential product or automation issues to determine if resolution or escalation is needed.
- Mentors members of the team to be more effective in writing scripts and implementing techniques.
- Completes code reviews of automated scripts.
- Creates advanced SQL queries to be used with automation scripts.
- Responsible for architecture of automation framework and integration of tools used for developing scripts and running tests.
**Requirements**:
- Understanding of test automation prioritization, strategy, and framework design patterns
- Experience working in agile software development, preferred in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- 5+ years of object-oriented programming experience with.NET
- Experience architecting test frameworks from the ground up; preferably experience developing test tools / test harnesses from the ground up
- 5+ Years of Automation experience writing automation scripts, preference given to experience with Microsoft UI Automation, Selenium WebDriver, BDD/SpecFlow, Protractor, Postman
- 2 + Years SQL experience with relational databases (preference given to MS SQL 2014 and above).
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure Devops, Github Actions, or others)
- Experience working in an agile environment
