In this role, you implement programs and actions aimed at the base of the food safety pyramid including material, process and product food safety specification development, GMPs (good manufacturing practices), hygiene and sanitation.

**How you will contribute**

You will work with key partners to ensure that food safety requirements are accurately translated into raw material, process and product specifications in a timely manner, provide basic food safety requirements advice to key stakeholders, and direct detailed technical questions to the Food Safety Team experts.

**What you need to know about this position**:

- Ensure manufacturing site’s Food Safety Plan / HACCP Plan are appropriate, effective, and in compliance with the Mdlz quality policies and FSSC 22000 requirements.
- Compliance reviews, HACCP reanalysis, Food Safety program reviews.
- Lead Internal Audit programs to evaluate and improve the Quality and Food Safety Management System.
- Support the development of Quality team and manufacturing members to build capability for program implementation.

**Education / Certifications**:

- B achelor's degree in food engineering or similar.

**Job specific requirements**:

- Food manufacturing experience, at least 2 years.
- Organization skills that allow for working on multiple activities concurrently.
- Understanding of Quality and Food Safety principles (HACCP, FSSC 22000, etc).
- Teamwork - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including quality, manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, etc.
- Self-motivated - Able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Leadership and communication skills.
