OneSeven Tech (OST) is seeking software professionals on a contract basis to join our team as Full-Stack Application Developers in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Mexico City, Mexico.
About you
The role
This is a contract position (with the possibility of a full time hire transition for successful engagements).
Onboarding
Your ability to frequently work from the OST office in Buenos Aires will be considered a positive. Onboarding will be conducted by video call. We expect a quick onboarding process, enabling you to contribute to projects swiftly after starting.

**Qualifications**:

- 6+ years of experience working as a Full-Stack Application Developer.
- Intermediate English level (required), strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work 9am -5pm EST, and provide for your own workspace with reliable Internet service.
- Experience with multiple Agile Methodologies, processes, and methods for software development.
- Passionate about the startup company environment and always eager to learn.
- Team player, willing to jump outside your role when necessary to improve the capabilities of the larger team. You are Ok to work a late night or a weekend, if necessary to keep a project on track.

Technical Requirements
- Experience with component UI libraries such as Material UI, Bootstrap, and Tailwind.
- Familiarity with Figma and ability to mockup a simple UI when needed.
- Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as JWT (JSON Web Token) and Amazon Cognito.
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Apple Swift, Python, Ruby, and other programming languages. Experience with object oriented, functional, and procedural programming styles.
- GIT, GitHub, and GitHub Actions experience. Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with Linux OS (and Microsoft Windows).
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other relational database management systems with proficiency in SQL.
- Knowledge of Web security best practices.

Benefits/Compensation
- In-office position in Buenos Aires and Miami (optionally remote).
- Contract-based employment with a US company.
- Starting at $4,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
- There are currently NO formal benefits packages available (health insurance, retirement plans not provided).
- Paid vacation time and sick days.
- Fixed working hours 9am-5pm EST time, Monday-Friday.
- Active international young team of 20+ individuals.
