**Marketing PR Content & Communications Executive - Maternity Cover**

- **Salary**: Up to £26.5k + Benefits
- **Type**: 37 hours per week

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Birmingham.

**Role Purpose**
- To work with the Head of Marketing & Communications in developing the marketing activity, to include press and media relations, social media, co-ordinating success stories/case studies, and producing and implementing targeted PR plans.

**Primary Duties**
- To write press releases and maintain a high profile in the media.
- Take photos to support press releases, case studies etc. (offsite and onsite)
- Create content for, post to and monitor social media platforms.
- To write copy for publications/literature.
- To be responsible for collecting/writing area specific student and staff case studies.
- To work as one of the Marketing Team, providing support at a variety of marketing events (open days, next step events, taster sessions, school careers events etc).
- To be the first point of call for all media enquiries.
- To maintain a proactive relationship with the media to generate PR coverage.
- To undertake planning, monitoring and reviewing of PR and publications.
- To engage with staff/students and businesses/local public in order to generate regular editorial and take photography accordingly.

**Requirements**:

- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
- Degree-level educated
- English qualification to at least GCSE level or equivalent
- Marketing or PR experience
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of social media and of its benefits to marketing
- Excellent communicator
- Able to work on own initiative
- Available for occasional evening and weekend work
- A willingness and means to travel where needed for the role
