Como parte de Rappi, serás responsable de:
The Vice President of Data Engineering will be responsible for overseeing Rappi's data platform, which serves as the foundation for all our products and services. This critical role involves managing the full spectrum of data engineering functions, from data acquisition and integration to operational and product data methodologies, day-to-day data processing and quality control, and product management of all data access tools.

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a data engineering strategy aligned with Rappi's overall goals and objectives.- Build and manage the Data Engineering team, fostering strengths and supporting areas for improvement.- Oversee talent acquisition for Data Engineering, ensuring timely backfilling and constant improvement of team capabilities.- Provide leadership to Data Engineering representatives across all company areas, ensuring standardization, quality, efficiency, and best practices.- Ensure the availability, timeliness, and quality of single sources of truth through coordinated processes across all areas.- Promote a data-driven culture within the organization, encouraging strategic data use in decision-making to improve business and clinical outcomes.- Oversee multiple data departments within the organization, focusing on leadership, management, and growth.- Keep abreast of industry trends and drive high-performing data teams.- Stay current with data engineering technologies and trends, identifying opportunities to enhance Rappi's systems and processes.- Define roles, responsibilities, and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of Rappi's principal information assets.- Act as a liaison between business, product, and technology teams to ensure clear communication of operational and analytic data.- Provide source-of-truth data to BI Analytics teams for executive management reporting.- Serve as a point of escalation for governance and work closely with Tech & Product leaders and the business to ensure data quality and protection.- Foster a goal-oriented culture that emphasizes personal accountability through setting objectives and expectations.

Bien y ahora, ¿Cuáles son los requisitos para que yo sea parte de este universo de neón?- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field is strongly preferred.- 9+ years of data-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility, including experience establishing and scaling data functions in growing organizations.- Previous management experience in data and business intelligence functions within a world-class technology company is required.- Expertise in Python, Airflow, Snowflake, and/or other Big Data architectures.- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.- A passion for solving complex data challenges and a desire to thrive in a constantly innovating and changing environment.- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical and non-technical information to executive-level stakeholders.- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
