This key client facing role requires the combination of
- demonstrable SAP Business One configuration ability and knowledge (version 8+).
- a client-engagement skill set that is both flexible and inspires confidence.

The role operates within the SAP B1 practice and across the many different industries in which Sapphire provides its services. From project mobilisation to go-live, this delivery role is at the forefront of Sapphire work to enhance and transform its client’s operations.

**The job is region, but not location dependent.**

This is a consulting role and as such, whilst the hours resolve around a standard working day for the region, there are times when the job holder will need to work outside these times to assure the project’s progress and success.

**Core Responsibilities include**:

- Providing implementation consultation and support services during the different phases of SAP Business One implementations, upgrades and other ad-hoc projects.
- Proficiency with the US and UK SAP localisations; other localisations are an advantage.
- Proficiency in using SQL-query, views and stored procedures. Proficiency in HANA syntaxis and reporting.
- Proficiency in the data structures of SAP B1 and any add-ons
- Customising forms and developing reports using Crystal Reports
- Perform customizations via Transaction Notification; able to create formatted searches; and other complex system modifications via the Boyum B1 Usability Package; recognising and addressing gaps between SAP Business One solutions / add-ons and the business practices of the client.
- Able to encourage the best practice for the client, even if this means the client changing their practices or processes.
- Designing and conducting master data migration guidance or assistance from legacy systems into SAP Business One.
- Helping to maintain or update Sapphire’s deployment methodology and share expertise with peers.
- Prepare well-structured presentations, facilitate design, client training and client workshops or presentations, whether virtual or face to face.
- Able to follow and configure SAP B1 or add-on components from a system design document created by other peers or from a joint design.
- Undertake unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) paying attention to versioning and transition from development and test to production phases.
- Maintain a project within the agreed scope and assist the project manager in identifying and quantifying change requests
- Able to demonstrate a basic level of IT infrastructure awareness
- Confident in presenting and explaining complex ERP or data concepts to the client
- Demonstrate experience of working in a consulting capacity with clients, including management of time, quality and cost
- Able to troubleshoot implementation issues and identify the root cause
- Writing coherent, comprehensive and concise customer implementation and design documentation
- Demonstrable client engagement expertise and confidence that results in the client asking for the individual by name for further work
- Adds ideas, improvement and content to Sapphire’s SAP B1 deployment playbook.
- Demonstrates a flexible work ethic and comfortable working remotely or on-site.
- Teamwork skills

**Qualifications**:

- Recent SAP Business One Accreditation (9.3 or higher) is highly desirable
- Boyum B1 Usability package certification is desirable
- Any other add-on product accreditations are desirable

**Experience**:

- Evidence of working in a consultative capacity with concurrent multiple clients
