**Senior Copywriter** **About R/GA** R/GA is a global digital innovation agency specializing in digital product development, brand transformation, media, and communications for major companies. You're fluent in concepting and collaborating and have mastered the art of writing in multiple styles for various channels. You're big on big ideas and comfortable selling your work, copy and concepts to clients at all levels. You're passionate about growing the next generation of creative talent and confidently lead teams to do the best work of their careers. You're endlessly curious and inventive. Your concepts and executions are fresh, unexpected, strategic, and always on brand. Our copywriters think for themselves, think for others, think for our clients and most importantly, think digitally. Think about how people are interacting with new technology, from mobile devices to virtual assistants, and find new ways for people to play with our brands. Daily requirements can range from high-level thinking like concepting for campaigns, to the granular thinking behind microcopy on every single page of a website. A Senior Copywriter may be the only writer on a project, may be supervising a junior writer, or may be working side by side with other writers. In any case, you are expected to take responsibility for the quality of any copywriting deliverable ensuring that it meets R/GA standards for creative excellence and client satisfaction. Here's what you should know if you want to be a **Senior Copywriter **at R/GA: **On any given day you might** - Concept and collaborate with the creative team, including other copywriters, experienced designers, art directors, and programmers. - Actually write—that is, be able to write compelling and grammatically clean long-form website/app copy as well as effective headlines, taglines, and calls to action. - Be comfortable writing in multiple styles and for multiple formats. - Work with account managers and planners to ensure creative concepts, tactics, and copy tone are on brand and strategically sound. - Work with producers to ensure copy is delivered on deadline and in accordance with clients' criteria. - Meet with and begin to get comfortable presenting work to clients of all levels - from junior brand managers to senior marketing clients. **The ideal person** - Portfolio demonstrating conceptual skills that result in award-winning, innovative and inspiring creative solutions. - Work that demonstrates outstanding craft in copywriting. - Curiosity, and a passion for digital media and the latest trends in tech. - Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks. - The ability to collaborate, to take constructive criticism, and to seek out and act on peer/client feedback—call this "people skills," "soft skills," or what have you—which is essential to good team chemistry and client relations. - A strong desire to do brand-building, product-selling, and award-winning work. - Marketing sense and an interest in helping to develop campaign platforms that can work across channels. - A minimum of five years' experience in advertising and/or digital. **You Bring** - 5-7 years of experience in advertising and/or digital media. - Bachelor's degree in advertising, Social Communication, Copywriting, or equivalent education and experience. - Proficiency in English (Written & Verbal) - A portfolio of work that demonstrates stories + systems thinking. - Proactively generate ideas for all formats (Visual, social media, TV, among others) - Ideas that create compelling brand story telling through technology, platform innovation and product development. - Experience working at world-class agencies on global brands. - An ability to collaborate seamlessly across departments. - Expertise in writing tools as well as executional platforms. - Ideation and presentation skills that will sell and earn work. **Diversity** No matter who you are, where you're from, who you love, follow in faith, disability (or superpower), status, ethnicity, or the gender you identify with (please do tell us your pronouns), you're welcome at R/GA.
