- Your day-to-day-
- Collaborate to design, implement software and support systems using industry best-practices
- Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to identify and implement software solutions to business problems
- Build automation tooling to help monitor production systems
- Address customer reported bugs, and provide production support
- What you bring to the team- When it comes to hiring, we value attitude and aptitude over number of years of experience with any specific tool or technology. We assume you know how to code; we’re much more interested in how you design, collaborate, and deliver. Having said that, we are generally looking for the following skills and experience.-
- Proven hands-on expertise in developing software in an Agile manner.
- Experience with scalability/high availability and distributed data services.
- Experience building, deploying and monitoring large scale cloud services. AWS or GCP preferred.
- Experience in authentication mechanisms for authentication and authorization.
- Experience leveraging observability frameworks.
- Understanding and hands-on experience with REST/Web services using JSON.
- Exposure to modern DevOps methodologies with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Contribution to high value product features and technical initiatives.
- Share knowledge with the team both formally and informally.
- Ready to adapt and contribute across the wider team as needed.
- Expertise in, or a strong desire to learn, a wide range of technologies, including; REST/JSON APIs, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, CloudBees, Git, Python, Go, SQL, Grafana, Prometheus, Behave, Terraform.
- 8+ years of server-side development experience.
