We offer a dynamic, gamified ecosystem that includes teen cards, engaging financial education, chore management, and more. Parents gain peace of mind with tools to guide and support their child’s financial journey—all in one intuitive platform. Today, over 50,000 families in the US use Modak, with our user base growing more than 20% month over month.
Our team is distributed across the US and Latin America, and we come together in person every 2-3 months for company retreats in Buenos Aires, Bogotá.
Modak is currently at the Series A stage, having raised $19M from leading investors, including Notable Capital (Airbnb, Anthropic, Square, TikTok, Coinbase), Nazca (Kavak, Justo), Monashees (Rappi, Loft), ONE VC, Maya Capital, and more than 40 other top angel investors, founders, and operators across the US and Latin America.

**What’s The Mission You’ll Drive**
Shape and elevate Modak’s brand identity across all touchpoints—ensuring our visual storytelling inspires trust, sparks curiosity, and connects deeply with both kids and parents—while keeping design consistent, scalable, and playful in a way that sets us apart in the fintech world.
**What You Will Do**
Lead the development and evolution of Modak’s brand identity system—colors, typography, iconography, motion, and photography—ensuring consistency across all channels while keeping the look fresh and engaging for our target audiences.
Design compelling, high-quality creative assets for marketing campaigns, product interfaces, social media, events, and partnership initiatives that strengthen Modak’s visual presence.
Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Growth teams to ensure brand consistency and a unified storytelling approach across in-app experiences, campaigns, and customer communications.
Create guidelines, templates, and scalable design systems to empower internal teams and external partners to produce on-brand materials efficiently.
Translate complex ideas about financial literacy and technology into visually appealing, accessible, and age-appropriate graphics, illustrations, and animations.
Push creative boundaries by experimenting with new formats, design trends, and playful storytelling techniques—grounded in user research and performance data.
Participate in brainstorming, campaign planning, and content ideation sessions, bringing design-led thinking to problem-solving and customer engagement.
**What We’re Looking For**
**Brand & Visual Design Expertise**
2+ years of professional design experience, with at least 2 years focused on brand systems and multi-channel campaigns.
Proven track record of creating and evolving brand identities for consumer-facing products, ideally in fintech, edtech, or youth-focused industries.
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other design tools for both static and motion graphics.
**Creative Storytelling & Conceptual Thinking**
Strong portfolio showcasing versatility—illustration, typography, layout, motion, and branded content.
Ability to simplify complex concepts (e.g., financial literacy) into engaging, age-appropriate visuals for both young users and their parents.
Deep understanding of visual trends and how to adapt them to Modak’s brand personality without losing authenticity.
**Collaboration & Influence**
Comfortable working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and external creative partners.
Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and rally stakeholders around a shared creative vision.
Experience building and maintaining a brand style guide and ensuring adherence across a growing organization.
