**Software Test Engineer**

**Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina**

**About The Role**

This Quality Assurance role will report into the Hansen Software Development Manager and will work with the local Buenos Aires development team responsible for developing and maintaining the existing automation framework and test suites. The Test Engineer will have remote work options available to make sure the scripts are up to date, compatible with the latest production code and will help the team to run the suite and provide analysis of failed scripts to get the regression result before releasing the product to our clients.

**About You **_: _**
- You will be a 4-year college graduate with a degree in IT / Computer Science or a related and equivalent QA Testing experience in a proven Software Development environment required
- You will have work 3+ years a quality assurance engineer with background in developing test cases, test procedures, test scripts and test reports and doing the hands-on implementation of those with 1 year experience in automated testing.
- You have strong technical skillsets in SQL, Oracle, C#, Java, Windows client and server OS, IIS (Internet Information Server) and writing NUnit or Microsoft Test and Test-Driven Development.
- Your technical knowledge with includes hands-on experience in analysis, design & debugging programs and large-scale integration projects and performance and/or experience with continuous delivery and integration.
- You can work in the Atlassian suite of products like JIRA and Confluence and have an understanding of Agile environments and working knowledge of SDLC.
- You are a great communicator and have excellent English speaking and written communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will work individually or within a team on software test projects to meet specific customer requirements writing scripts to execute test cases for API testing. You will not only design and assist in the implementation of test harnesses in C# or Java but also create, use, and maintain test harnesses in NUnit and Develop and Execute Manual Test Cases. This may include but not limited to the following:

- Be able to debug code in C# or Java and direct web technologies and programming (html, IIS, web services) on solutions.
- Execute build release process and assist in designing, coding and testing software as part of the Agile team.
- Provide bug reports to development team while updating status & technical documents in Jira.
- Work directly with engineers to troubleshoot potential problem areas.
- Research functionality and implementation of current and futures testing techniques and technologies.
