Your day-to-day
What you bring to the team
- 10+ years of strong server-side development experience. Experience of front-end development a bonus.
- Proven hands-on expertise in developing software in an Agile manner.
- Experience with scalability/high availability and distributed data services.
- Experience building, deploying and monitoring large scale cloud services. AWS preferred.
- Experience in modern authentication mechanisms, Authz/Authn.
- Authoritative level understanding and hands-on experience with REST/Web services using JSON.
- Strong Object-Oriented Analysis and design concepts.
- Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL implementations.
- Exposure to modern DevOps methodologies with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ownership of high value product features and technical initiatives.
- Ability to act independently as a lead on complex projects and collaborate with the team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Play well with others Be a great teammate and help us maintain our positive culture - Share knowledge with the team both formally and informally.
- Ready to adapt and contribute across the wider team as needed.
- Provide mentoring and thought leadership to other team members.
- Expertise in Linux.
- Expertise in, or a strong desire to learn, a wide range of technologies, including: Java, JavaScript, React.js, REST/JSON APIs, Linux, AWS, Puppet, Kubernetes, Docker, terraform, Jenkins, Selenium, Git
