LHR Americas recruit people from around the world to work in Saudi Arabia. **Who are we looking for?***: We are seeking Operation Engineer To support daily operations, which includes troubleshooting, plant optimization, equipment resources, debottlenecking, equipment commissioning and production loss accounting. He is responsible to ensure the plant provides maximum unit availability in a safe and economical manner by providing support to plant personnel using available resources. **Qualifications**: - Chemical Engineering degree from recognized and reputed institute. - Minimum 5 Years' Experience in industrial operations (Fertilizer / Petrochemicals / Oil / Gas Industries) - Sustained performance - Minimum "Strong" & above. **Duties and responsibilities** ***: - Compliance with EHSS & SHEMS Procedure: - Comply with SAFCO policies and SHEMs procedures, quality procedures and SAFCO ISO certified standards. - Ensures SHEM procedures compliance in his area with right tools & equipment to perform their task safely. - Be aware of all MSDS, SHEM in general and be fully familiar with specific SHEM responsibilities related to the position and ensures full compliance to SHEM Systems, Practices and Procedures. - Full aware of EHSS critical equipment's & its maintenance strategy. - Lead / Participate in department risk assessment; Coordinate implementation of controls from results of hazard analysis. - Analyze and report the EHSS related information / Data for further communications (to RC). - Reports all Near Misses & Accidents. - Conduct training of operating personnel in relation to new equipment installation and process control modifications. - Routine Job Compliance: - Ensure daily capacity utilization & production budget achievement. Plant Performance Gap evaluation and Resolution - Reviews unit-operating data (Shift Supervisor Log, Operators Log and DCS Screen Displays) - Coordinate start-up and shutdown of the plant by following standard operating procedures. - Review notification status with Engineering and Maintenance. Plan the required Techanical & engineering input Follow up and track work orders in SAP Plan and coordinate all activities, prior to, during and after unit shutdowns. - To support operators and shift supervisors to operate plants as per the standards SOP and SHEM procedure to produce efficiency at high quality level and as per the production plan and targets. - Troubleshooting and tracking for any plant abnormal condition or low productivity. Identify the need of Criticality Assessment based on failure events. - Fully responsible for equipment performance monitoring & do effective communication to schedule break down equipment's - Follow up e-MOC. Arrange the Budget (Capex), Coordinate for execution. - Checking the plant prior to start-up for conformance to specifications, drawing, design intent, safety and operability (PSER). Conduct PSER to ensure effective implementation, follow up the balance actions list as per PSER - Participate in and Implement PHA, safety audit, RCA, Process improvement & technical recommendation. Follow up PHA/SAFER & other related to EHSS action items belong to the department for closing & keep tracking. - DCS Change Request (DCR) review, follow up with assigned contact Engineers on DCR evaluation & Manager Approval Comment on input specific to safety and production. - Monitors all EHSS bypass during normal Operations and plant upset. Improve & monitor plant sustainability. - Monitor & keep tracking SAFER interim & mitigation action plans. - Ensures Plant Operating Parameters, process analyzers & plant performance within specified limits as per SOP, instructions & Guidelines Follows up corrective actions during any deviations and troubleshoot during emergencies. - Drive continuous improvement methodology and principles within the area to improve operational performance. - Dail
