**Description**
General information: Lead the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. You will be the technical lead for all Engineering activities related to Network Control for Power Grids in Brazil. You will drive excellence by ensuring that Engineering activities are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with customer expectations, contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. Responsibilities: Working closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions and utilizing feedback to drive the delivery of innovative improvements and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Leading and coordinating Engineering teams across Network Control discipline on Electrical Projects of high complexity, sharing technical knowledge and best practices. Developing and reviewing standard processes, tools and techniques while ensuring that Engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements. Supporting the Project Manager in overall project risk and opportunity assessments and overseeing the implementation of resulting improvement and mitigation actions. Preparing project engineering proposals, coordinating documents and engineering estimates and performing related Engineering risk analysis. Providing technical details, costs and deliverables for Sales proposals. Supporting contract managers in issuing claims related to changes in project scope, including assessing cost and time impacts as well as risk quantifications. Resolving complex technical issues both remotely and on domestic and international customer sites. Your background: Education: Electrical or electronic engineering / IT professionals Expertise (Years): minimum 3 years in the same position or similiar areas Location: Brazil / Chile / Colombia / Argentina Languages: Advanced English and Spanish Desirable: Knowledge in Linux systems, relational database (access database, MS SQL) PI platform - desirable Differential - Python Programming Languages Indispensable knowledge in Scada
