**Your Role and Responsibilities**

Job Role Specialty Description
Responsible for installing, managing and upgradingUNIX based systems and servers. They are responsiblefor the maintenance, configuration and operations ofAIX Systems. The system administrator seeks toensure that the performance, reliability and security ofthe systems is maintained, maintaining the system withpatches and upgrades, and security of the systems,
ensuring system backup are configured and working. Toaccomplish this the systems administrator installssoftware, software upgrades and patches, providesroutine automation; maintains security policies;troubleshoots; and provides technical support.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Sólidos conocimientos en AIX
- Conocimientos de Virtualización PowerVM, PowerHA,
- LVM.
- Inglés intermedio (lectoescritura y conversación)

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Conocimiento en AIX y Linux
- Development skills (python), Scripting
- Ansible

**Required Education**

Technical Diploma

**Preferred Education**

Bachelor's Degree
