Full Stack Senior Developer

We're helping one of our clients, **Web Shop Manager**, hire for a **Full Stack Senior Developer.**

Location**:Remote (for Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico residents).**

Skills**:Proficient in machine learning, Git, AWS, full-text lexical search, cloud computing, AI (Artificial intelligence), semantic vector-based search, RAG (Retrieval-augmented generation), ACES and PIES, and technical documentation.**

Responsibilities and more:
The full-stack developer will join a small team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for global users.

Objectives of this role:

- Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
- Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
- Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment.
- Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain scalable and high-performing software solutions using the specified tech stack.
- Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Ensure code quality through unit and functional testing.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functionality.
- Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable software.
- Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent videoconferences.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Required skills and qualifications:

- Experience in the automotive industry and automotive parts standards such as ACES and PIES.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in a small team startup environment.
- Experience working on or implementing e-commerce platforms or solutions.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud computing services.
- Ability to write and maintain clear and concise technical documentation.
- Experience in search technologies such as full-text lexical search and/or semantic vector-based search.
- Strong understanding of Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with ML, ML embeddings, and generative AI.
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Experience working with AWS Bedrock.
- Experience in designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Knowledge of Ruby, Python, Javascript (Node.JS, React, Typescript, ES6, Cypress), Go, Rust, Elixir.
- Experience processing large datasets and working with Big Data and Analytics.
- Experience working with data processing frameworks and services such as Apache Spark and Airflow.
- Experience with databases such as, PostgresQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, influxDB, Milvus and Qdrant.
- Experience with Messaging Queues such as RabbitMQ, AWS SQS and Kafka.
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
- Experience in unit/integration testing.
- An octopus called Dave.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, applied mathematics, or engineering.
- Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies.
- Professional certification.
