We are seeking a proactive and passionate Semi Senior QA Software Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through rigorous testing and a focus on continuous improvement. You will collaborate with developers and other team members to identify and resolve issues,
ensuring our end users receive an exceptional experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria for user stories.
- Identify, log, and track software defects, providing clear and concise information.
- Perform thorough manual testing on both new features and existing functionality.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure product stability after updates or bug fixes.
- Participate in sprint planning sessions providing input on testing timelines, strategies, and potential risks.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing documentation and user manuals to ensure comprehensive test coverage and product clarity.
- Collaborate on improving quality processes and testing practices within the team.
**Requirements**:
- Advanced student or graduate in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability to analyze log files and understand technical specifications.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
**Desired Qualifications**:
- Intermediate or advanced English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.
- Experience in developing automated tests and familiarity with test automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data in databases.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration tools such as GitHub Actions, Argo CD, or similar platforms.
- Proficient in API testing using tools like Postman, or similar, for validating service interactions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle in Agile environments.
- Previous experience in the tourism industry is an advantage but not required.
