Netsuite Engineer

As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a NetSuite Engineer / Finance Systems Engineer to join our team. Will you join us in our quest to create a healthier and happier world?

This is a remote position, where you will be working as part of our Global Finance Automation (FinAuto) team. We are looking for somebody on full-time, part-time or freelance basis. We are a remote-friendly company, meaning you can work from your home at all times. The location of this role is flexible (either European or American timezone).

**What this role looks like**
As a Finance Systems / NetSuite Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our ERP system (NetSuite) and its integrations with other business-critical tools. As a fast-growing tech company, we are constantly building scalable, automated, and robust operational systems — your engineering expertise will be fundamental to our success.
- Design, implement and manage highly scalable (financial) workflows using our ERP system (Netsuite)
- Perform day-to-day Netsuite engineering activities, and lead longer term projects to drive automation and efficiency for our Business Operations
- Create, manage and control Netsuite reporting, in close collaboration with our Finance and BI teams.
- Collaborate closely with analysts and engineers to design and implement automation flows
- Lead Netsuite projects end-2-end, from collecting the business and technical requirements all the way through to testing in a sandbox environment, pushing to production and collecting feedback of stakeholders.
- Shape the future of Finance Automation & Finance Operations at Virtuagym, by playing a fundamental role in the design and implementation of our technology ecosystem.

**What you will bring to the team**
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems (or similar technical background) or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- 80% Technical Skills, 20% Finance Skills
- 2+ years experience with Finance Systems Engineering / Netsuite / ERP
- Strong data analytical skills (f.ex. Understanding of Relational databases)
- Coding/scripting experience
- Finance skills (f.ex. Understanding of BS/P&L/Cash Flow/Asset and FX/reconciliation principles)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong interest in automation, operations & the future of Finance
- Self-starter/learner
