We are a boutique advisory firm based in Toronto and New York that helps startups & funds raise capital from investors. We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure that the lists we send out to investors meet the requirements we are looking for as well as to perform testing on our software platform.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure data & software
- Conduct functional testing to identify defects and ensure data & software meets specified requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure proper test coverage
- Perform API testing to validate data integrity and functionality
- Utilize automation tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and provide input on product quality
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in software quality assurance or related role
- Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and best practices
- Proficient in Python, Web Scraping CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and other web technologies
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of mobile testing techniques and tools for iOS and Android platforms
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
