Misión del puesto

We’re looking for a Product Owner to take ownership of our product offerings, to sit within our product team. The mission of your role is to create a competitive advantage by taking ownership of design and client experiences and WOWing our customers. You are responsible for the vision of the Product and speaking for the customer with your squad and stakeholders.

Roles y responsabilidades

Main Responsibilities- You will own the end-to-end flow of one or more products.- You will understand customer needs and gather product requirements.- You will prepare Epics, Story Maps and User Stories, which will be refined with the squad.- You will take ownership of all aspects of the given product including logic, dependencies, constraints, user pains and high level technical aspects that need to be work on along with designers and developers.- You will take full responsibility for a customer-facing product to earn their trust and fulfill their needs, even when they don’t know what they want.- You will become an expert in global best practices around your product and its substitutesAs a result, you and your team's work will make a difference to millions of mexicans.- You will need to work with technical challenges and make strategic recommendations, communicating directly with the developers and designers.- Work cross-functional with our world-class engineering, business development, product and operations teams.- This role reports to the Product Director

Key Requirements

Fluid conversational and written communication in Spanish and English.- Very concise in your communication and agile in your actions.- Previous experience of delivering a regulated product to market is a must. Experience or strong interest in Fintech.- You love solving problems.- You have at least 3-5 years experience creating customer facing products in start-ups, digital factories or innovation teams inside corporates.- You are highly logical with technical background/ education.- You are a Product Owner / Manager.- You have prior experience and track record of building successful (financial) business products using data, customer feedback, common sense. You have experience with product management or product design with a focus on software products and technologies.- You have experience handling complex projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.- You are willing to go the extra mile to create reusable components to be modified and applied to multiple projects.- You’ve read the “fintech law” and understand the importance of this for Mexico and the banking ecosystem.

Información Adicional

We are looking for a dynamic person who one day can go fix a basic operational problem on the field and later that day be in a formal meeting with a bank CEO. At the same time, this person needs to be structured and not afraid to take risks. Be able to make decisions without needing constant supervision or all the data needed. We trust in gut decisions whenever these are easily reversible. Calculated risk taking is embraced.
