**The Role**: Specialist, General Management
The ClearPar Loan Operations division is seeking an Associate Director with project management, technical integration, product liaison, and business intelligence skills located in Gurgaon India to lead one of our global Loan Operations Teams.
ClearPar is the first fully operational provider of par and distressed loan closing and recordkeeping services for the syndicated loan market. Through a unique combination of experienced personnel and electronic processing, hardware, and software, ClearPar has built a single platform system to address market demands for efficient settlement of par loan closings.

**Responsibilities**:
The Associate Director will supervise a dynamic team, responsible for all onboarding, data research, and processing functions on the Loan Operations Team which primarily supports ClearPar users, and their system functionality needs. You will also be involved in projects to streamline processes across the division.
In this position, you will gain exposure to an exciting financial market and interact daily with our clients of varying levels of seniority. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our next generation of team members as they learn about finance, banking, syndicated loan market, and Software as a Services (SAAS) technology.
As an Associate Director, you are expected to manage teams who support our clients and the business with operational duties and all trade support functions to ensure sufficient trade and syndicated facility data integrity. These include but are not limited to accurately reviewing and maintaining asset and contract data, new deal creation, processing amendments, creating/modifying transfer docs, and primary delayed compensation syndication maintenance.
You will lead team members as they provide onboarding support for new clients, their team members, and accounts as requested to ensure a smooth and effective quality-controlled onboarding process across multiple products. Your technical understanding of APIs, SFTP, Product Management, user interfaces, technical troubleshooting, and much more will be utilized in this role.
Strict adherence to processing deadlines, quality-controlled operational processes, and LSTA/LMA standards for processing and closure of primary and secondary par loan transactions and/or trades.
You will be responsible for pro-actively identifying internal and external trade and system related issues effectively. This will also require the ability to work seamlessly with internal partners and management on resolution plans and/or additional escalations.
Your ability to capture and channel user feedback through proper communication and listening skills is imperative. You will be required to partner with leaders, peers, product associates, sales, and relationship managers on required projects to service our clients and facilitate the continuous improvement of our products and services.
You should be willing and able to cross train with neighboring divisions of the firm to provide an agile workforce capable of handling issues and engaging with joint clients.

**What We’re Looking For**:
Previous management experience in a direct team management and lateral management situation
Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in teams
Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing abilities
Exceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and concise manner
Proven record of maintaining strong relationships with senior members of client organizations, addressing their needs, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
Goal and action orientated, with ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Customer service experience from any field is a plus
- Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Must be able to handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise
Ability to organize and prioritize complex issues and projects to completion
Ability to think laterally, provide proper issue analyses, and question current processes
Eager to learn with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient PC skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and experience with Salesforce is a plus
Strong process improvement skills
- Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (Finance, Economics, or related field preferred)
5 - 8 years of work experience within the financial and/or syndicated loan industry
Previous exposure managing global account management and operations teams
Project management, automation, training, and product liaison experience
Strong MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
Power Bi and/or Tableau experience
