In **Argentina** within the **banking** industry, we are looking for a **Senior Software Engineer (Node.js + AWS)** to join our development team and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, efficient, and resilient backend solutions. The role focuses on improving architecture, ensuring code quality, and driving best practices in a collaborative and agile environment.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and architects working under **Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)**, where collaboration, innovation, and quality are at the core of every project. The team promotes a culture of continuous learning, autonomy, and technical excellence.

**_ This is you_**
- **5+ years of experience** with **Node.js**, **JavaScript**, and **TypeScript**.
- Strong understanding of **software testing**, **code quality**, and **best practices**.
- Solid experience with **databases** (SQL and NoSQL).
- **3+ years of experience** with **AWS services**.
- Experience with **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using **CloudFormation**, **SAM**, or **Serverless Framework**.
- Familiarity with **SCRUM** and **KANBAN** frameworks.
- Experience with tools such as **Jira**, **Confluence**, **Visual Studio Code**, **Git**, **GitLab**, **Postman**, **VirtualBox**, and the **command line**.
- Residence in **Argentina**, preferably in **Buenos Aires** or **Córdoba** for occasional on-site meetings.

Nice-to-have skills:

- Knowledge of **CI/CD pipelines** and DevOps best practices.
- Experience optimizing cloud costs and monitoring systems in **AWS**.
- Familiarity with **microservices architecture** and event-driven systems.
