Our client is an on-demand fuel management, tax automation, and compliance software provider. They deliver innovative, scalable, cloud-based fuel logistics solutions that streamline distribution. Fuel retailers, wholesalers, and haulers gain real-time visibility and paperless control of fuel buying, dispatching, and reconciliation on any device - desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. The fuel management system integrates all major suppliers, distributors, terminals, and price feeds in one standard fuel supply chain by automating all aspects of the fuel management process, from procurement, inventory management, demand forecasting, strategic sourcing, financial reconciliation, and margin analysis, and environmental compliance monitoring. The client provides industry-leading software and services to suppliers, distributors, convenience stores, carriers, and fleets that manage transportation fuels worldwide. It delivers operational and financial value for companies responsible for more than 30 billion gallons of gasoline and diesel annually. As a member of the release management team, you will work closely with DevOps, architects, and development teams to create a scalable, secure, and maintainable infrastructure that will scale both for performance and maintainability.- Requirements:
- 5 + years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer/DevOps/Developer or equivalent competency in a SaaS or technology development role.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS-hosted environments.
- Knowledge of various technical stacks and a strong knowledge of debugging and monitoring using different tools such as CloudWatch, PagerDuty, Splunk, etc.
- Understanding delivering enterprise-scale end-to-end monitoring and incident response solutions in a multi-service, multi-team setting.
- Understanding centralized logging tools.
Will be a plus:
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows systems on internally hosted.
- Familiarity with installing and configuring Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, and Spring Boot.
- Experience in the IoT space.
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent relevant field.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain end-to-end response and remediation plans for production and non-production incidents.
- Monitor, optimize, and remediate cloud infrastructure pipelines, assets, and workflows.
- Perform ongoing analysis and improvement of all infrastructure regarding scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
